The National Lutheran Home & Village has a rich history and an ongoing dynamic expression of caregiving, stewardship and volunteerism. For more than 100 years, the work of NLHV has embraced individuals and their families in time of need to offer excellent healthcare and quality of life for people 65 and older.
NLHV is open to people of all faiths without regard to gender, race, ethnicity or national origin. There are numerous ways to support the ministry through volunteering , leadership , the NLH Auxiliary , financial contributions and employment at NLHV.
Community Family Life Services (CFLS) mission is to give people living in poverty and homelessness the tools they need to move towards permanent economic and social self-sufficiency. FLS offers short-term crisis assistance and empowers families and individuals to change their lives for the better. Their services are in the following areas: Housing Services; Supportive Services & Community Outreach; and Youth Development & Advocacy.
LC/NA works for the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Lutherans in all aspects of the life of their Church and congregations. They provide a place of comfort and safety. LC/NA reaches out and teaches that Christ's message, the Gospel, is for everyone equally.
A national volunteer service program, partners with full-time volunteers and over 100 social justice organizations and ministries in twelve cities in the United States. In addition to working for justice, LVC Volunteers live together in intentional household communities of 4-7 people, deepen their spirituality, and encourage simple, sustainable living.
Lutheran Peace Fellowship (LPF) is a community of Lutherans across the U.S. and around the globe, responding to the gospel call to be peacemakers and justice seekers. Based in Seattle since 1994, LPF offers a wide range of expertise, support, and resources for youth and adults.
