The Life of Jesus
Seventy years ago ten painted glass windows were installed in the sanctuary of the Church of the Reformation. Each, framed with a rainbow of design, is a scene from a famous painting of events in the Life of Jesus. The brilliant color of the Nativity, the Transfiguration, the Supper of at Emmaus and the others has ever served to enhance our worship service. But now our aging treasures require restoration.
As part of its fund-raising effort, the Reformation Windows Restoration Funding Committee is offering to share with you the extraordinary beauty of these scenes from the life of Jesus in a set of 10 notes cards and two Christmas cards. Blank inside, the set of 10 note cards can be used for celebration, sympathy, good wishes, friendship, or a thoughtful gift for a friend. The Christmas cards, each with a message inside, are available individually.
The notes cards picturing our historic, stained glass windows are prefect for you. Where can you get this one of kind of stationary? The answer is simple. You can see either Helen Vigness or Judith Mangubat on Sunday mornings, before or after worship. If you miss either of them you can also email helen.vigness@verizon.net with your order and your address. The cost is $15 for a box of all 10 scenes. Shipping and handling will cost an additional $5 for up to three boxes. Please make the check payable to "Church of the Reformation", with "Note Cards" in the memo line.
