Small Groups at Reformation

Throughout the Year a variety of Small Groups will be meeting! Small Groups are formed around common interests, a particular location in the city, or even demograpgic. Each Small Group will engage in some form of Fellowship, Bible, Pray, and Service. Check out the Small Groups Below!

We will meet to practice and learn from each other.

St.LuthRef is our faith in action! It is the amazing combination of Confirmation and Senior High youth and adult leaders from St. Paul Lutheran Church, Luther Place and Reformation in DC. Doing youth group together gives all of our youth a richer experience - a chance for deeper relationships with each other and frankly, for more fun! St.LuthRef meets at least once a month September-May and for a summer trip! Contact Pastor Ben (hogue@reformationdc.org) for more information.

Young Adults

The young adults group meets about once a month in the evening for food, fellowship, and theological reflection. We will also be planning quarterly "big" events, likely on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons, that can hopefully include those with nontraditional work schedules as well. Most of our planning and coordinating is done through Google Groups or email, so if you have ideas, suggestions, or would like to join, please contact Dan O'Brian who can add you to the Google Group.

This small group will be a way to reflect on God's beloved creation, how humans are causing the 6th mass extinction and what our roles as citizens and church members should be. We will engage with the environment in a variety of ways: discuss the ways we can lessen our impact on Earth as a church community, engage in movie viewings like Chasing Coral, learn more about the current and future realities of the climate crisis, and hike in nature together as a community!

Info: Craig Hass and Jeff Watson are hosting a small group for those interested in international travel. Where have you been? Where would you like to go? Let's get together, share experiences and reminisce!  Contact: Craig Haas at craighaas@me.com The next gathering will be Wednesday, July 10.
